Toronto Hydro is asking for a rate hike
because they wish to recoup a 10.4 million dolloar loss in revenue due to reduction in power usage for the last year and a half because of an energy conservation program.

Now an average increase of $2.07 per month isn’t a huge increase but isn’t this a bit of a disincentive to save power? If I use up more will you lower the price?
